"on the edge"

I guess I was in a hurry to “get in the water”. This happened last Sept at Jackson Lake Dam in Grand Teton NP. Wet wader boot slipped off brake and onto gas pedal and…

I wonder why the park ranger asked if alcohol was involved? It wasn’t thankfully.

I’d rather be in Wyoming!

Duh, Marco,

Alcohol may not have been involved, but
I’ll bet I would have had a bracer after had
I been in your shoes.G Warm regards, Jim

Marco,
I sure hope you didn’t throw your waders away thinkin’ they were leaking!!
Seems to me you were pretty lucky.
Mike

Marco,

I think you are building a case for studded felt soles.

Yikes!

Never let your wife drive again!

Hey Marco,

so did the Jeep make it out on it’s own power???..just wondering

“I’ve often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before” A.K.Best

“Wish ya great fishing”

So Marco, other than that trivial event, how was the rest of your day? What, no pictures of the fish caught?

Hmmmm…as to chucking out the waders, I would have had to at least air them out for a month or two after such an attempt to show that Jeeps can really take to the high country.

Glad no-one was hurt (except your pride maybe).

Snow on the roof with fire in the hearth

INJURY REPORT:

Pride- deep gash to upper flabenoid testocra,
cleared up with several doses of
of single malt. Prognosis- the more
single malt consumed, the sooner event
will be forgotten
Jeep- No damage ( drove back to Jackson)
Wallet- $300 recovery fee
Environment- major relocation of lot barrier
still unrepaired as of Feb.05

Thanks for the concern.

Mark

A Another view of the “problem”

The park ranger usually gives citatioins for damage to park property but gave me a pass . He liked my Illinois license plate #.

I hate it when they put those cliffs too close to the parking lot. You would think that the cliff builders would know better.

Marco,

Glad only your pride was hurt.

I LOVE YOUR LICENCE PLATE
