I guess I was in a hurry to “get in the water”. This happened last Sept at Jackson Lake Dam in Grand Teton NP. Wet wader boot slipped off brake and onto gas pedal and…
I wonder why the park ranger asked if alcohol was involved? It wasn’t thankfully.
I’d rather be in Wyoming!

so did the Jeep make it out on it’s own power???..just wondering
“I’ve often wondered why it is that so many anglers spend so much money on,and pay so much attention to.the details on the wrong end of the fly line.If they took as much care in selecting or tying their flies as they did in the selection of the reel and rod,They might be able to gain the real extra edge that makes it possible to fool a fish that has,in fact, seen it all before” A.K.Best
So Marco, other than that trivial event, how was the rest of your day? What, no pictures of the fish caught?
Hmmmm…as to chucking out the waders, I would have had to at least air them out for a month or two after such an attempt to show that Jeeps can really take to the high country.
Pride- deep gash to upper flabenoid testocra,
cleared up with several doses of
of single malt. Prognosis- the more
single malt consumed, the sooner event
will be forgotten
Jeep- No damage ( drove back to Jackson)
Wallet- $300 recovery fee
Environment- major relocation of lot barrier
still unrepaired as of Feb.05
