OK its time...;)

Its time to start thinking trout… I went on a trip this weekend and the weather was nicer. Crossing the mountains was clearer, no snow or cold winds up top. I could feel spring in the air. I’m excited…

Go for it, Tim…I had BETTER get a report!
BTW, I AM planning on making the Festival in April.

We got a few inches + ice overnight, and the weather looks to be wintry through the rest of the week. After that though, it looks like the rodent may have been right…temps going from the high 20s to the low 50s over the next week after that.

Lowland Lakes early opener in Washington is in 22 days. I’m getting my jon boat and pontoon out of dry dock today, hopefully. I need to change the seat on the pontoon to a swivel, and get the jon ready for a comfortable ride or consider selling it. The temperatures are staged to stay above freezing 24/7 any day now. The wait is killing me, but at least now I have something in the near future to look forward to.

I had 18" of NEW snow in my yard this morning!

That’s on the other side of the divide. I’m still optimistic. I hope, I hope, I hope!

Those limestoners down 81 should be worth a look. Looks like we’re in for some warmer weather over the weekend.

Regards,
Scott

If the rodent was wrong I vote we use him for dubbing… I’m tired of winter.

It has been bitterly cold here at least one day a week for the past few weeks, but the weekends have been in the mid thirties. Got out last weekend (with some success on the water) and hope to get out again this weekend. Can’t wait for it to warm up for good.

ok the weather broke with a little more snow, a little more cold, some days with rain, ice, and mixed all in… some nice days of warm er get outside weather… I can now also see green stuff starting up in the flower beds… Its gonna be a good day …
