OH, WOW! - ANOTHER DREMEL POPPER FLY?
Foam poppers are not new. Foam poppers made from scratch are not new. After years of experimentation with failures too grotesque to explain, this method for a Dremel popper fly emerged around Y2K. Of course, it is possible to make a foam popper very quickly, if a rough finish is all you need. Any novice tyer can do this. I’ll explain how later. Rough poppers catch fish, but, maybe not as many or maybe you’ll feel less bona fide.

Hey Bob. Have you ever used Loctite GO2 to bind foam.? It’s a lot cheaper than Loctite Super Glue. I’m going to give it a shot.

Hey Bob. Tried the Loctite GO2. It’s a slow drying glue. I’ll stick with the Loctite super glue. Just wanted to pass this on.
Just an FYI, I have found some CA (super glue) products will react with permanent felt tip on foam flies and turn it red. I have not experimented with different colors I think it was a slider I had “painted” yellow with a Sharpie that turned red when it came into contact with the CA.
