Long ago I purchased a 4 cd set of Merle Haggard called “Down Every Road” I managed to crunch into pieces Disc-1 of the 4. I would sure appreciate it if some has a copy of Disc One I could obtain.

You have a PM.
The good and the bad. Music situation being taken care of by ONE good FAOL’er. Surprised only ONE person offered assistance. I know there are many out there with that cd. BUT ENOUGH IS AS GOOD AS A FEAST. ONE person did indeed offer up help and situation solved.
Thank you very much to the one and only FAOL’er that stepped up and helped me out.
Hat’s off to a good person.
Thank you very much Jessie.

There may be more folks out there than you think, Jim…not trying to make myself look good …but since it seems a concern…I did check to see if I had it and not having it checked with a friend who let me know last night that he didn’t have it either…sorry…I’m glad you got it.
Also since it shows someone pm’ed you it was easy to figure …it was covered…how does the saying go…“We’re looking out for you”
The problem is that you asked for help with Merle Haggard CD ~~ I couldn’t help you there. Now, if you asked for a Stryper, Relient K, or Switchfoot CD, I could have helped you there.
No Country here either. But for future reference, the Library carries a lot of CD’s. Now, does anyone have disc one of the four disc set Led Zepplin? 8)
Now that’s music! Sorry FG I only have Led Zeppelin IV.
Does anyone know where the 'Stairway To Heaven" is?
Also I’m listening to Evil Ways by Santana ‘70’ and you have to stop running around with Jean and Joan and who knows WHO! (I love giving ultimatums!)
Doug
I can not believe FG doesn’t have country
She lives in a "Country’!!! FG, You don’t like Alan Jackson?? What’s rong withU?
I parked my truck downtown Minneapolis last week with my only 4 CW CD’s on the seat. Someone busted my window out and left 4 more.
But still no Merle.
FG,
How bout a Rock song, with some Country! Golden Ear Ring, Radar Love, “Brenda Lee’s Comin On Strong!”
Great song to drive by!
Doug
I love southern rock ~~ Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, Molly Hatchet, 38 Special…
Sorry to take this thread off topic…
Please forgive me.
GEMROD - when I saw that “onemorecast” had responded to your thread - there was no need for me, or anyone else, to respond.
However, now you’re trying to insult the rest of this board by insinuating that there was only ONE member of the FAOL community who was willing to help you out.
What - were you expecting a long line of people begging to copy their CD and send it to you?
It only takes one, and thanks to “onemorecast” you got it.
So why do you feel it’s necessary to insult the rest of this community because 1) we don’t have that CD compilation set or 2) saw the post that someone had a copy of it and didn’t feel compelled to reply?
Gemrod,
We wouldn’t let you down!
Doug
Nope, no country. Golden Earring however, I play and sing Radar Love and Twilight Zone, love Southern Rock, but I listen to Jazz with a beat Like Bony James, Four Play, etc. I am a bass player so anything that has a killer beat,…and yes I love FUNK.
Jim,
I didn’t write my last post with any evil or insult thoughts in MY mind. But if YOU want to take it that way so be it. I don’t really give a hoot.
I think I failed mind reading 101 many times in my life. I did not know that several people tried to help me because no one said so. I now know and I appreciate it. 'Tis still a strange situation to me that I got one reply on a request for help…and about 13 replies to my comment.
It’s all good. I did and still do thank FAOL for the ability to get the help.
No Bad Days…I get up and drink my imaginary glass of sunshine and take my happy pill…and look forward to a brand new day…that starts every day at sunrise.
That set is on my list to buy someday. They were my favorite band for years and years. I grew up listening to Bluegrass, Country and Rock, then fell in love with Blues, Zydeco, Big Band, etc. My musical tastes vary widely, as you can see. I listen to pretty much everything but Hip Hop and free-form Jazz these days.
Fly Goddess,
Which Disc is Stairway To Heaven on?<><?
Doug P.S. You have a PM also!
