Maybe it was the high shipping charge that doomed his sale. I would have thought there’d be a lot of Abel Nipper owners who’d want to have a lanyard like that to hang their nippers around their neck.
How about this DIY pontoon? Roll Tide!
How’d you know I’m in the market for a new pontoon boat. And I’ve already got the electric trolling motor.
Shucks. I’ve got some generic nipper sisal lanyards I’ll let go for half that much.
If you’re not satisfied with silvers pontoon, get a real boat with a motor. Note nighttime running lights.
I wonder if that picnic basket could be used as a seat for a second person? But it looks like it’s already riding pretty low in the back with just one guy and the motor, so maybe not.
Also, did you notice the rope that guy’s hanging onto? Think it’s the “kill switch” for the outboard motor? Probably keeps the guy from sliding back into the motor in case of an emergency. Appears to be well thought out…
This is SO FREAKING SWEET! My inner redneck says I have to have one of these.
Seller doesn’t mention that the lanyard’s made from Chadwicks 477; actually quite a bargain considering.
the scarcest fly tying material ever!
I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time while reading a thread. Even Silver Creeks title had me laughing pretty good after I caught the meaning behind it. (It took me a few posts to catch on.)
Truly enjoyable. Thanks everyone for sharing.
