Not a glass junkie... So, I need to know,

71/2 ft. Heddon Pal Model #75, Black Beauty. Fiberglass Fly Rod,Black alunium tube and sock Orignal.[edit] ( Mint)…as close to perfect as one could ever dream of.

Anyone know what this rod might be valued at…Just courious,Since I just bought it off ebay…Been wanting this in boo…but hav’nt had the luck in getting a bid in edgewise…so I figure this will do.

Tuber,
A 290 71/2ft bammie just sold at well over 200.00…Yes I was thinking of nailing that sucker to the wall…lol…But I knew I could have this for a tad under that…till the shipping was applied any way…lol [edit again], ended just after I posted and went back 232 and change,It lacked the comfit grip indent on the handle,So it were’nt a trouter model,I have 3 rods already that do bear that feature,None are under 81/2 ft. though.this glass rod will do me now for rods…and the two others I happened to yesterday…I now have to stop the buying of rods…as I have so many between here and PA…That I could’nt give you a number if my life depended upon it…even picked up yet another forecast blank while on there It’ll be my first venture into a real multi piece graphite…5pcs in a 6wt…think I’m going to have a tough time of getting the spine right on this one…lol

Thanks LF,
Just made my day/night,Everything is intact, Right down to the lable on the rod tube,Caps even still with it.

I missed several really great rods tonight, In as great a condition as this one…1 southbend glass rod with the orignal warrenty card even…amazes me how one can have these gems and never fish them…Oops…LOL…Me thinks me just gave away my total intent with this rod…If it’s a rod and I own it,You can count on it seeing water!!!..I don’t care how much it may or may not be worth.

It’s worth to me is found when it’s doing what it was made to do…

But my courosity does get to me!!!

It (The knowing) will make me appreciate it even more…

Yep JC, Sounds like a plan,It’s not here yet.
But I’ve been mulling it around in my head as to exactly how such short pc’es could allow for exacting that fine line…And I’ve come up with notta to get any kind of results…Alot of things with this have been running through my head…Enough to make me wish I’d just went into H&H and bought it as a rod…full and complete…!!!

Deanna,
I recieved the rod today, And I still am in awe of this,as I can’t find a single hint on the ferrules where they have ever been joined…I really wanted to fish this rod…But with it appearing as it were NEVER assembled.

I am really going to have to think on this a bit…I’ve never seen a rod tube such as this either…as the end cap does’nt screw on as any I’ve ever witnessed…It does screw to seal it, But in the same manner as a boat plug does on some boats…it squeezes a rubber plug to expand it into the tubes sides…Very Awesome rod…Thanks for replying with info…
