Hi Gigmaster;
Nice fly! How did you attach the body/imitation hackle? A dubbing loop?
Thanks in advance;

Yes. I used a dubbing loop.
If anyone is interested, I’ve made a set of instructions, complete with pictures. I’d be happy to send them to anyone who wants it. I thought I might submit it to FAOL. I got lucky once, on the Floating Head Minnow. Maybe I can do it again.
Not joining this swap, but will be interested to see pics of the ideas. I have an idea to use punch yarn as the tail, body and hackle. I’ll try it out when I get time???
Hay! Gig,
I’d like a copy of your recipe.
Dave
JackCrow is the 12th swapper who has entered the no-feather bugger swap.
JackCrow isn’t currently signed up here on the list. He is a co-worker of mine. His fly-tying is 1st rate.
Welcome JackCrow

How did I miss this? I wanted to show off my Wooly bead head Buffler. From bison hair I picked up in Wyoming this past summer. Crappy picture, neat featherless fly. :eek: Maybe next time. Jimsnarocks
Gigmaster you bugger is fantastic I would love to have the pics and recipe for it. It looks so good I am reluctant to put a pic of mine up here but here it is any way. John
