New camera new rod

I just completed this glass rod. My son took some pictures and suggested that I show them here. So here is a 6’9" glass 3-4 wt. I do not remember the type of wood that I used on the reel seat. I did finish it with spar. The guides are REC RSN recoil snake. If I remember correctly the stripper is chrome with a nanolte ring. I leave the cork unsealed and unpatched.

I like those wraps! You can call that rod the bumblebee!

That is just plain SWEET. Very excellent look.

Good looking rod. I also like the wraps.
Whose blank did you use?

Ya’ll are start to cause me to crave a fiberglass rod. Beautiful job, classic colors, great job.

Thank you everybody for your nice comments.
Bobbyq: I purchased the blank from Phil Balachino. He has been designing and making fly rods for over 30 years.
Phil’s company is called Kettle Creek Rods. (570) 923-1416
Along with glass, and bamboo, they make mod to mod fast graphite blanks.
