So after mulling over what flies to initialy add to my site I decide to give up! There are just too many possibilities. For this reason, I am asking members of the board for their favorite wet or dry flies. I will take the suggestions and begin tying! Thanks for any input.

Here are some suggestions:
Copper John
Bear Paw
Klinkhamer Specials (in olive’s sizes 16 - 20)
Any CDC Emerger
Brown and Green Drake Nymphs
Bead Head Golden Ribbed Hares Ear
A variety of dries and emergers tied with snowshoe rabbit
My list could go on…
I have always enjoyed the spider series, or Clyde style flies. You might add some of those.
I read your other posts here and I saw someone suggested you visit some local fly shops and look into tying flies for them. Let that dictate the patterns you tye. Just a note, I was fishing out of Bozeman this past fall with a guide from one of the local fly shops and he was telling me they have many fishermen who come to the shop seeking the original woolly worm patten (black chenille, red tail, palmered grizzley hackle). He said the shop can not get them anymore from their normal sources for flies and they would like to find someone to tye them. I am sure there are several such patterns like this that shops need, so this would be a good place for you to start.
Just my 2 cents.
Good luck!!

parachutes
comparaduns
elk hair caddis
stimulators
pheasant tail nymphs
hares ears
stoneflies
san juan worms
midges
this is your site. you need to decide the flies you can tie in quantity and quality.
R-B;
I fish your neck of the woods, 5-6 times a year and at the same time, “jump over the hump” and spend several days on the upper St.Joe as well.
On all the waters, my partner in crime and I, cover, we’re always looking for small Renegades and Tricos. The Ren;s in #16s and #18s and the Tric;s in #18s-#20s. We always bring what we THINK is “enough”, but it always turns out we’re at least a dozen or so, short of each.
Also, very popular and in use by a lot of fishermen in that area, is the “St.Joe Special” dry, in #14-#16, in both natural gray w/grizzly and the brown w/grizzly.
Just some thoughts.
Of course, over years I both lived in and fished, throughout that area, I devised my own “secret dry”. But, unfortunately…if I gave you the recipe, I’d then have to have you "removed’ and I HATE having to do that to such a nice guy.
Thanks for the replies everyone! Bob I cant believe they would have trouble finding such a easy pattern. Pattern must be old i’m assuming? Thnaks for the tip. I live in a pretty rural area, however we do have one outdoor shop with a fly selection that could be passed off for a beginers fly box. pretty slim selections. i have a few jobs brewing right now and will be looking into possible jobs with local outfitters as well… thanks to everyone for your suggestions!
Keep em comin!
