My try at the Infamous Pink (non-pink), the soft hackle and another bomber.

I call the last one the Winged Widow Bomber. More here. I also tried an egg-sucking leech and a brown worm variation.

This brings up a question… seems like a bead-head softhackle with a worm dropper would be a good fit, since you want that worm at or near the bottom. What’s the best way to tie on the dropper? To the hook, or just leave a tag on a cinch not?

The pink worm on your blog looked interesting.

A suggestion, place a piece of craft foam, file folder, manila envelope, etc., behind your vise to cut out the background clutter and aid viewing your fly. It might help focus the camera also. I am not a good photographer but I think that will help show off your craft.

Wonderful idea! Thanks uncle Jesse!

the infamous pink worm works great on spring creeks but doesn’t seem to work so well on freestones. been fishing it and variations for 10 years now. A tan one works great in freestones I have found.

nevermind… uncle jesse beat me too it lol, nice flies, i like your bomber
