Thats pretty, I know how much you love vises. Can’t wait for a review. Enjoy.
Where are those sold? Other than face book, can not find them anywhere. Idont have a FB account and never will, do they have a web site?

A beautiful tool, Byron. Did it produce the flies too? And I thought my Thompson A was high tech in the 60’s!
My contact with the maker, in Canada, has only been through his Facebook page: Luma Fly Vise
He only makes 5-10 a year at present. Has a day job.
Oldster,
I think most of us old tyers, my first vise was a Thompson too. Later upgraded to the “Thompson Pro”. It was a pedestal model.
Above my pay grade. Enjoy my friend.
Neil
Thanks, Neal. Will do
Looks like the Lamborghini of vises.
Beautiful vise. How many vises do you have now? Remember that vises not vices so this should be much shorter list;)
Jim Smith
Jim,
I have quite a number of them.
Few vices.
The Luma really is an amazingly beautiful vise. I’m curious, have you ever tied on the NorVise system?
Jim
Yes. Did not like it. Don’t like “in-line rotary”. I see now they offer offset rotary jaws though. Might take another look, Jim. Not a fan of “spinning” jaw systems though. More of a tyer who likes controlled tension rotary tying.
