I love that pattern!!! I will definately tie some up to use with my Tenkara rod (which I am still VERY new at). While the pattern looks fairly straight forward, I’d like to see some instructions especially for the tail. Can you point us to any on the internet?
Thanks for sharing.

The way I tied the tail is real easy. Tie in a length of chenille near the hook. Then twist the chenille several times. Fold over and let it furl, then tie off and trim. The key is to make sure your twisting the estaz, or chenille the correct way. If you see the threads in the middle of the estaz getting tighter you are twisting the correct way. If they are separating you are twisting the wrong way. Here is a SBS for a Furled Tail Mohair Leech. Enjoy. Oh I am putting 15 wraps of .15 lead free wire on the hooks.
Thanks, that sounds easy enough. I think they’ll work great for large bream and crappie or perhaps the odd bass here and there.
Thanks again for sharing a great looking pattern.

Pretty sweet! I hadn’t thought about trying to make Murdich Minnows that small…excellent idea!
