I think that little bug is calling you down to the river
I did take a quick trip down to the river. Nothing happening on top at the spot I checked out.
Came home and tied up a fresh batch of Griffith’s Gnat and a few midge dries based on a fly an acquaintance described to me a while back - black thread body, grizzly hen hackle for the downwing, and grizzly saddle hackle dry fly style.
