Since I have tied flies on all of my small hoolks I will have to think of what pattern I will do.
I have Tied on soze 30 and 32 hoolks.

Rick

I tie most of my hopper patterns on
#10 and #12 hooks so I think I’ll try
a #16 hopper of some sort.

Diamond Midge ( black ) size 24

I have no idea what I am going to tie, but I think it’s going to be a size 18 0r 20…

I’ll do a size 18 tungsten head PTN

I’ll do a size 24 black fly larvae.

  • hoping the new reading glasses and magnifier with light will do the trick

I will dso a virus midge on a size 20 hook. Smallest size the glass bead will fit on and still tye the fly.

I gotta go through my flies and see how small I have tied before. I will get back to you on the pattern ASAP.

OK. Here is my offering.

Pink Disco Midge sz. 20

Hook: sz. 20 Nympth
Thread: Vinyl Rib-Translucent Pink
Thorax: Peacock Hearl

They are on the way.

I just realized, I don’t have your address.

I’ll mail them as soon as I know where to.

Thanks,

Recieved Black Diamond Midge’s from ibrb today…They Sure Look Great:D

Well by the rules, I’ll be tying a size 20 something. I tied one fly at a size 18 a couple months ago. Going to try a couple of patterns this evening. Hope to have my fly decided shortly.

Going to do my take to a Danger Baby

Danger Baby
Size: 20 Stand Dry Fly
Thread:Olive 70 denier
Body: Clear Tubing
Wing: Orange Antron
Thorax: Peacock Herl
Head: Cotton Candy colored Glass Bead.

I’ll tie a size 22 partridge and orange. The smallest hooksI could locate are size 22 scud hooks so they are 1x short with a little bend to them, I don’t think the fish will care.

Whoops ignore this… Still waiting on FISHNFOOL9 to get signed up.
Senior Moment:D
