“Makers Rod” Stream Restoration Fund Raffle

Details: The Rod The Makers Rod will be a 7 foot 6 inch, 4 weight, 3 piece, 2 tipped rod. What makes the rod special is that it will be made by 28 rodmakers from across the United States. The special cause will be stream restoration on the AuSable and Manistee rivers of Michigan. For the rodmakers it is a chance to show their love for the craft and their concern for our resources. For some lucky individual it is a chance to own perhaps the most unique bamboo fly rod ever made: There are 24 strips required to create this special fly rod. But there will be 28 rodmakers involved. The rod will be fitted with ferrules provided by Classic Sporting Enterprises and a reelseat by Bellinger Reelseats. The drawing will take place at The Trout Bum BBQ IV held next year - June 27, 1998 at The Fly Factory - 200 Ingham - Grayling, MI. You do not need to be present to win. Limited Edition Print To add further uniqueness to the raffle each of the 500 tickets available will be a limited edition print by Larry Cory.
