Look for pattern

Tom Rosenabuer came up with a fly called the “General T” for general terrestrial fishing. I saw it in the Orvis News. Can anyone post the pattern? I’d buy the guide but I don’t need anymore fly pattern books. I have tons of them.
Thanks

Sorry no recipe…but here’s a picture…which I’m sure you have since it came up on an Orvis search.

that doesn’t look too hard to replicate without a recipe!!

It looks like a very simple pattern for sure. The photo in my paper was awful.

I found this description which sounds a lot like tying an ant pattern:

“The General T is one of Tom?s patterns. ?T? is for terrestrial and it has two bumps of brown fur, a brown hackle in the middle and wings made from loops of Midge Krystal Flash. Tom uses it as a flying ant imitation, but says it also works for stuff like bees, house flies, deer flies etc? I stripped line of the reel and looked…”

Hope this helps…

I looked at the picture and it appears to be a simple tie just use dry fly dubbing for the body, and a 200R size 12 hook ,black thread ,coachman hackle, yes and crystal flash looped for wings 3 sets per side. Cool Tie going to try a couple for myself. JCN
