Long time and I've missed you all

Hello again to everyone at FAOL! It’s been almost a year since I was an active poster. In the meantime a lot has transpired but I have missed this community greatly and been reminded of you often and so I am back! I am oh-so-excited to catch up with everyone and am going to now peruse the latest posts.

I am SO EXCITED TO BE BACK!!! :D:D

P.S. I DID go trout fishing on my honeymoon! My husband, Chris, and I went to Montauk State Park in southern Missouri and stayed in a cabin for three nights while we fished during the day. They weren’t wild trout, but it was fun all the same.

Here are some pictures from our honeymoon:

See the trout in the bottom right?

The water was COLD! (Mr. JohnScott, do you recognize the fly rod?)

Also, here is a decoration from my husband and my wedding that I think you will all get a kick out of. The “I DO” was my husband’s doing! We made it from an old picnic basket we found at Goodwill! LoL!

Ok, I am really off to see all that you folks have been up to!
Greetings and I hope you are all well!

Fondly, your friend,
Mrs. Karli-Rae

First off, CONGRATULATIONS!!! And welcome back.

Welcome home. Good to have you back.

Nice that you are back and congratulations on your marriage. I can tell by your post that you are very happy and excited. Very nice decorations, you did a great job. I look forward to more energetic post from you. Enjoy catching up.

Congratulations and welcome back! That water in the first picture is crazy clear! There’s a trout behind your back…watch out! ;o)

Great to have you back Mrs. Karli.

John

P.S. I do recognize the rod. And it has never been in better hands.

Welcome Home! Keep us in the loop - you are looking / and sounding just great!
Hugs, LF

Welcome back Karli, glad to see all is good!

Welcome back, Karli-Rae. I hope that you, your husband, and future children have many years of great fishing.
Good luck!

Ed

I am so happy for both of you! Very glad to see you back home here where you belong too. Now if I had known you were going out to that area of Missouri, I have friends in the Bull Shoals area.

Welcome back and congratulations!

Welcome home, CONGRATULATIONS, and as always…Best Regards…

Welcome back, Mrs. Karli Rae!

Welcome back home, Mrs. Karli-Rae. You honeymooned in a place I’m very familar with. I am a retired Missouri State Park Ranger, retired in 2010. Montauk is very popular with trout fisher folk. I worked several trout opening days at Montauk and enjoyed them. Hope your honeymoon was great and best of luck to you and your husband, may you have a long and fruitfull life together, taake care. Just keep on keeping on, John.

 Thanks for the warm welcomes! They touch my heart, seriously.

Hey Karli-Rae…good to see ya back, I’ve missed are chats and wheeling dealings. Will be in touch.

Hi Mrs. Karli-Rae,

Great to hear from you. Nice to see an update from you, and I enjoyed the pictures. Hope your fly tying is progressing!

God bless,

Gandolf

Mrs. Karli-Rae, You were missed good to see you back on the board. I figured you had gone off to be a wife, nurse abandoned the slinging of line. I think of you everytime I get a bead out to put on a fly.

LoL! Glad to know I’ve impacted someone’s tying in a small way!
