Probably already has been mentioned, but this morning me and my coffee read through it and I enjoyed it. I don’t catch all the post’s on here so some one may have already posted about it. I like the personel touch LF use’s in how she include’s her life and feelings in her writing’s. My mom and step dad are headed back home from a trip they have taken, (they called me from Kansas yesterday) they just rented a mini van and took off out west, crossed the whole USA, with no plans, just stopping where ever. Any ways they made it to Washington State the other day and Mom called me. She new I was interested, she said the first part looked like desert, (that surprised her) and then she found out about some volcano eruptions. She was driving threw another part and was telling me about all the flyfishing people they had seen fishing. I asked her later where they was and she said she wasn’t sure. I was interested cause I thought maybe I could relate it to where LF and JC lived or fished. I was having my coffee and reading LF’s article this am and mom is into water color’s her self and I was just realating it all together enjoying the peaceful quiet and cool breeze coming in the back door, thinking to myself, yep, LF is right, life is good…
Grubb,
Ask your parents if they were up in the Mt. St. Helens. If they were and they drove up to the Johnson Observatory (named after the scientist that died reporting the eruption back in 82) then they were looking down on Coldwater Lake. That lake is a great fishery, but tends to be very windy. Anyway, if they were up there on Saturday, and if she saw a lot of fly fishers out on the lake, those would be members of a club I belong to. They were having an outing on Coldwater that day.
