Hans, what is the dubbing brush made of? I like the colors of this fly a lot.
Thanks,
Joe

Joe,

It is a store bought dubbing brush (http://www.siman.cz), and looks to be 50:50 blend of synthetics and natural materials, including a few strands of deer hair - twisted between two fine strands of copper wire.

I plan to do a tutorial clip on the pattern this evening.

Cheers,
Hans W

Excellent. Thank you, Hans.

Joe

Thanks for posting the fly and will be watching for the tutorial. I just finished making myself a Dubbing Brush Tool, can make a brush out of anything you want to use and a lot cheaper than buying the brushes.

Hans,

Knowing your ways and desire to acquire hard to get materials, I had a feeling that when we read the recipe we’d find that the dubbing was the fur of a very BIG cat, LOL. Well, it didn’t turn out like that but a very nice fly pattern nonetheless.

Cheers.

Thanks for posting the video, enjoyed watching it.

Very buggy. Just the way I like to dress flies. Tanks Hans for posting the pattern and video. Great job!
