no leaks!!!

Hey FP,
The alcohol remedy is quite simple. Just before donning the suspected leaky waders, take a 12 oz glass , fill with ice and pour in finest scotch whiskey to cover ice. Put to lips and drink heartily. When glass is empty, repeat the procedure. Two of these should solve the problem. Your waders will still leak, but you’ll care a whole lot less.

Ah Marco,
I need to try that with the Cubs! Did you make it out this way?
Just an FYI: The info that came with my Sims waders says the alcohol trick only works with gore tex waders. So according to them it won’t work on their freestone waders which are breathable but not gore tex. I don’t know if that’s true or not. I’m just repeating what I read.
I’m glad your waders don’t leak. Sounds like you got a great bargain.
