looks more like the negative than the pic to me…maybe it’s my AOHELL…
top middle…head facing left…
I put my polarized glasses on hopong to find it… I do see the shadow in the top…perhaps a fishy
left- hand side of the inside bend where the dead grass comes down to the water facing away from the viewer
ding ding…you have it.
And it is large too.
You know I found it not by looking for the fish ,but by looking where I would expect to see fish. Reminds me of some of my home streams.
Cheers
DuFf
P.S. …I have also spent some time casting to submerged driftwood and rocks without a take.
Some days it’s just not worth chewing through the restraints…

Yeah it’s large. Just like that disgarded wheel laying in the water it’s apparently looking at.
C’mon Len…

We did not see the fish, and can just barely see it (THINK we see it
) now, only because it is shown to us. But it’s position is acceptable.
We could NOT accept the “obvious” fish because of it’s position…NOT into the current. Unless of course it was moving.

after the photo the fish turned and swam towards me to the deeper water.
Geezz, the only thing I see obvious is a reflection of a limb or dead grass and snow from the bank on the left about 6 or 8 inches from the bank under the small limbs. But that can’t be it because that is def a surface reflection and not under the surface…I’m stumped! So crop the pic and let us see the fish…
Center of the photo

after the photo it turned and swam directly at me…to deeper water.
Okay Spin, dead center blackish and sideways on the bottom, maybe 13 - 14 or so incher (going by grass and rock etc).?
see the tire in the water to the left?
when it turned…
it is about the length of a full sized tire laying down…
Is not an inch under 25…
This photo was from 15 yards away.
Spinner,
Well I guess it is time to put him in your net. Looks like a fun stalk. Was it suspended?

confession
I did NOT see that fish when i took the photo…
As I took the photo and put camera down to my waist…
I saw it turn…
and head right right towards me and my thought was Oh Sh/T…
I pulled up the photo on my ld screen and closed up it…
Then a huge smile came across my face.
