Kids polarized glasses

I finally managed to find kids polarized glasses that don’t break the bank.I refuse to spend more on a good pair of glasses for the kids than I did on my own, anyway I found some at a local sports store today that I bought for my son.
You should have seen the look on his face when I picked a couple of pairs of glasses out gave him the money and told him to choose which ones he liked the best.
then I told him they were a reward because we had spent all day shopping for stuff for our new house and he had been a wonderful help and hadn’t asked for anything all day.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I really love it when I am out in public with my children and they realize that people are paying attention to their behavior because it’s good, not bad

If sense is common why don’t more people have it?

gonfishn,
What was the name brand of the glasses and, where did you get them. I would like to get a pair for my young daughter(then I could have mine back).

Amen Dad.

M and I have seven kids and when they were younger we had a standing ‘bribe’ to encourage good behavior. With so many we rarely went out to eat but if we did the bribe was that IF anyone out of the blue came up and complemented them on their behavior then a desert treat was in order. The complement had to be about behavior not that they were cute or anything else. We were in Luby’s for a Mother’s Day dinner and a grandmotherly lady came up and told us how beautiful our children were. I mouthed the words ‘that doesn’t count’ to my oldest two and as she left the woman added, ‘and they are so well behaved.’ We all laughed as my kids shook their fists like Tiger Woods after an eagle putt and whispered, ‘YYESSS!!!’ It is amazing how often people will complement good behavior - I guess that is a reflection about how rare it is.

But good job Poppa - you and the Mrs. keep up the good work.

The brand name is Chili Peppers,I googled the brand name and REI.com carries them for 10.00 a pair.Bass Pro also carries another
brand of kids polarized glasses for about the same price.
