I consistently catch larger fish when I am using larger flies. These patterns are made from Sculpting Flash Fiber which is synthetic so it does not absorb water as much as natural materials. The stinger hooks swing freely, giving the patterns more action in the water. The Jumbo Leach catches big fish, especially when fishing in low-light conditions or heavily stained water.

I’m personally not a fan of trailing hooks for bass, pike or muskies - I’ve had to dig too many of them out of gills and gullets…but they’re OK for trout.
