hook - Dai Riki 280 #12
underbody - non-tox .025 (optional)
thread - Danville 6/0 olive
rib - x-small copper wire
tail/shellback - peacock herl
abdomen - ostrich herl olive & brown
head - peacock herl

mash barb, start thread, tie in rib, wrap to point above barb

tie in a couple olive and brown herls; twist, wrap to 2/3 mark

measure (gap width past bend) some peacock herl; tie in at front of abdomen (don’t trim butts)

capture herl with first wrap of rib, continue rib through the abdomen; helicopter end, cover with thread

twist herl, wrap head; tie off/trim, half hitch x 2, SHHAN
