Not a whole lot of info on this one, although it appears to have been around for a while; apparently popular on B.C. stillwaters at one time. Only thing I added to the recipe I found was the wire counter rib, to protect the ostrich herl. Weight optional.

thread - Danville 6/0 black
counter rib - x-small wire silver
tail - hen black
abdomen - acrylic yarn black
rib - ostrich herl black
shellback - goose white
hackle - hen black
collar - peacock herl
Part 1
mash barb, start thread; tie in rib, wrap to bend
measure (gap width past bend) a few hackle fibers; tie in/trim
tie in a strand (pulled one out of a piece of 4-ply) of yarn at 2/3 mark; wrap tapered body, finishing 1 eye width back from eye
tie in ostrich herl at 2/3 mark; wrap to bend
capture tip with wire, continue ribbing to 2/3 mark, helicopter end, cover with thread
tie in a section of goose quill (gap width)
