On Friday, April 8 at approximately 6:00 pm my wife and I welcomed our first child - a little boy - into our lives.
He’s so beautiful (as all babies are) and we couldn’t be happier.
Mom and baby are doing well, and dad is “one proud papa”. There’s only one problem - I have just three weeks to teach him to cast before the spring opener!

The stork just visited my wife and I three weeks ago with a boy too. I now have two fishing partners, the 1st was a girl. She is 5 now and just loves to fish and I’m sure he will too. I can’t wait.
Looks like we should start stocking up on some more gear.

Sorry I forgot to mention it, but his name is Liam John.
My eighth grade students thought that his name should have been Fisher (wait for it…put it with my last name…there you go! If it was a girl, they favoured the names Ima, Ivana, and Anita…again, say each quickly with my last name!)
We’re having a blast, and I’m not looking forward to going back to work…I could just stare at him all day!
