I have a new fishing buddy

On 12-26 at 12:26 we welcomed Alexa Marie Mirambeau into the world. Our first baby has had her first baby, and we couldn’t be happier. Now I just need to know what color wraps to put on her first 6’-6" 2wt. Hmmmm… Here’s the proud grandpa…

Alexa Marie

Very cool, Joe!!! Congratulations.

She is soooooooo sweet! Congratulations to all!

Sooooooo beautiful!!! She looks so tiny in Grandpas hands!!

Congratulations!

I got two of those, and believe me grandkids are the coolest part of getting older. Reward for all the trouble you had raising their parents.

How cute! She’s a keeper! Congratulations Grandpa Joe!

Absolutely precious!

As for the wraps…what color is an angels hair? I think that would be an appropriate color.

TT.

Congradulations Gramps give the New Mom and Dad Our Best!

Congrats! You will love her more and more each day.

Fly rod?..I got my 18 month old Granddaughter a Paula Dean little person baking set. We love to knead dough together. One of her first toys was a plastic mixing spoon. She got it as soon as she could hold on to something, even before a rattle. She likes the rolling pin.
Enjoy her. Mine sure can light up a grin on my face.

Hearty congrats, Grandpa Joe.
I’m quite sure that you’ll have the wraps worked out and the rod all made in plenty of time. I hope that she develops a love of woods and waters.

Congratulations to all!

gratz to the new bundle of joy.

She’s absolutely beautiful. Aren’t grand kids wonderful? As far as wraps are concerned, I was going to say Pink, of course. But the more I think about it, Lavender wraps with gold tipping comes to mind. Lavender is in the Purple family, and Purple connotes royalty. And, she is definitely a Princess. And the Gold tipping would connote the finest of gifts for that Princess.

CONGRATS!!!
[LEFT]She’s beautiful Joe. Believe me, it will seem like tomorrow that she’ll not only be fishing with you, she’ll be helping you cook too!
She has been worth the wait, hasn’t she?
God Bless ALL,
Mikey

Congratulations, Joe. She picked a winning family to join. Our first, Paul Joseph, was born Oct 22 to our second. My wife is wondering why I’m going 1 - 2 - 3 and holding his little hand making sure he stops at 1:00 and 11:00. Never too early. She’s a beaut. Beam on!

Congrats to you, your wife and the proud parents!! Ain’t it a great feeling to be a GRANDPA?? ENJOY!!

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. The family went home from the hospital today with the approval of all the docs, and everyone is doing just fine. They will spend today and tonight just by themselves, then my wife will go there to tomorrow help out for about a week or till they throw her out. She’s just going to cook & clean and shop so that our daughter can relax and heal up quickly. In preparation for her heading out to help them, I made a little something for her to take along so she won’t have to cook the first day…5-cheese ravioli in whole wheat pasta (homemade, of course) and my signature Italian and Honey Whole Wheat loaves that will be sliced and bagged for them when they are fully cooled.

I’m also sending a couple of containers of my homemade spaghetti sauce and a bag of homemade meatballs. That should get them through the first day with a little left over.

Congrats Joe! Very nice looking family you have there! And why is it I can smell that home made bread over the internet I don’t know… Must be good stuff…
