Roy Rogers had a problem with a mountain lion coming in and killing his cattle at night. So Roy and his Native American friend prepared to go up in the mountains to dispatch this threat to his livelyhood. Well, it was snowing up in the mountains and Roy’s old boots just would not do, so he went into town and bought himself a brand new pair of cowboy boots. Roy and his friend then went up in the mountains but found no tracks to follow the cougar. While sleeping out under the stars one night, the cougar crept into the campsite and chewed up one of Roy’s new boots. So Roy went back down the mountain to get his old boots. As he was walking out of his door with his old boots in hand, his friend was riding up to his house with the cougar strapped accross his horse. As he walked up to Roy he asked:
“Pardon me Roy, is this the cat who chewed your new shoes”
