Week in and week out, I get wonderful pleasure from “Old Flies”. You educate me and stimulate me to try my hand at these connections with our past. Your ties are appreciated especially if you compare them to my ‘clunkers’ but then, what’s a heaven for if a man’s reach does not exceed his grasp?" I couldn’t agree more! Eric, I absolutely love your old flies. This week’s is probably my favorite. I love reading about them and feeling connected in some way to those people and places. One of the best parts of FAOL. Thanks so much for doing it.

I must add to this, Eric managed to get us an Old Fly for this issue even 'tho he is suffering through the fire in his home and is in the process of living elsewhere until the damage is repaired. Talk about being a trooper. Wow!
