Hows the leaves in your state.

Been looking at NC leaf reports always better to fish a stream in prettier color and looks like our state is getting ready to peak.Wife normally takes a week off but I think were going to break it up into two weeks with here off three days each.

Over on the ‘wet side’ of WA state (which hasn’t been wet since early July) the leaves are finally starting to very slowly turn yellow and red. We have yet to have a frost and the woods are very dry, everything is in need of a good rain fall.

The palm trees here on Kauai are about the same as usual. However, this is what an area near West Yellowstone looked like last week:

Trees in the Catoctins were in various stages of color on Tuesday

a bit hard to see here, but trust me

Get to be a bit of a pain when they’re on the water, but they sure are pretty.

I saw a few trees Sunday morning that were starting to turn. Unfortunately, with our really dry Summer, many trees have already lost their leaves. Of those remaining, about half are turning straight to brown, and remainder are still green.

Not to mention hot! Not as bad as last year tho. Our leaves in Wichita are just starting to turn. Hope the frost holds off for a while, with with the recent rain and cooler temps our garden is looking good. Especially the peppers. Big batch of relish to can!

About the same as always.

They are turning quick here in Maine, some places the whole mountain side is full of reds, yellows, and orange colors.

Ours have a coating of white snow. Got more overnight.

You people living in the mountains make me sick!

The aspen leaves here in Rock River at 7000 ft area yellow–near peak color–out in Omaha the hardwoods are dry and turning, losing a lot of leaves due to dryness. Color might be a bit sparse this season.

Just getting some trees here and there turning right now in the Lower part of Michigan, but the Northern part is turning pretty good from what I have heard.

With all the rain we’ve had here in Vermont alot of leaves came down already and alot of areas just don’t have the brilliant colors we’re used to.

Leaves are brown, wet, on the ground, and beginning to be covered in snow.

Steelhead and Rainbow trout fishing are still good and Silver Salmon can still be had, though.

An update–awoke this morning to find the leaves, cold and shivvering!

If you are looking for leaves, my back yard is starting to fill up. You can have all you want so I don’t have to rake and burn.

… what leaves ??

Not on the Rocky Mountain Front.

But some nice color in Northern Idaho.

And in some places over there it’s ever green, flame red, and smoke gray.

Coming back from the Front the other day, we did see a lot of Cottonwoods in their Fall colors. Spectacular. But we didn’t stop to get pix.

A fall visitor…

Just because I know there are more fall pics out there I posted another one to bring this to the top.

NW Washington isn’t know for great fall colors but still is a pretty place in the fall…
