Ok Jim, I gotta ask.
Did you take 'em home ?
Just kidding, I stumbled across a picture of me holding up a pair of bass at the mid section that defied gravity!
Couldn’t remember ever having any sent to taxidermist, then it came back to me.
It must have been around June or July and the hour trek back home on a one speed bike allowed the old riggar mortise to set in.
Nobody else in the family eat any of the fish I brought home but I did. Seem’s to me they came out a bit fishy tasting back then come to think of it.
Nice picture, glad you posted it.

Hahaha I remember the days Mom would yell at me for bringing fish in the house.
Now that She is gone it’s up to my Wife to yell!
When I was about 12-14yrs old I was using my Dad’s Cane Fly Rod and broke the tip on it. Never heard the end of it till last year when I got him a new Rod and Reel.
Lotta fishing memories with the Ole Man.
Now that Mom is gone and He don’t hafta take care of Her I hope to fish with Him more!!!
