mash barb, start thread at 2/3 mark; tie in wire, wrap to bend
measure (gap width past bend) some gp tippet; tie in, wrap to 2/3 mark
wrap wire forward, helicopter end/cover with thread
dub thread/dub thorax (won’t be seen; more to prop up the chukar hackle)
prep chukar
tie in by tip, wrap, tie off/trim
