Horrock-Ibbotson Bamboo Fly Rods

My neighbor has 2 Horrocks - Ibbotson bamboo fly rods he wants to get rid of. The first one is a 3 piece, 9ft, Ike Walton model with 2 tips, bag and tube case. It looks to be in good condition. The second is a 6 piece, 9 ft. trunk model that is not in good shape—lose guides and one broken ferrule and a bag. What is a “ball park” value of these rods? Is anyone interested?

I’m certainly no expert (so if my quote is way off, bear that in mind), but I’d geuss the H.I. is worth probably $150. Really no idea what the value of the other one is, as I haven’t seen what sort of shape it’s in. Could be $30, or it could be $100. As far as being interested in them, yes, I am. Unfortunately (for you, that is), I just bought a bunch of 'boo rods (15 of them  ) that I’m picking up tomorrow, so I don’t imagine I’ll be buying any rods any time soon. If you do decide to sell these rods, the “For Sale” section would be a great place to do so.
