Boy Scout Oath.
On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty to God and my country. To help other people at all times. To keep myself physically fit, mentally awake, and morally strait.
I haven’t recited that since 1955. Have I missed anything?

A wonderful book is “The Scouting Way” A daily guide to living with scout values by Sandra & Jeff Schwartz. It’s set up with inspirational story that illustrate the scout Oath and law with real life examples. If you want to shed a tear the story on patriotism by John McCain is worth the price of the book. Completing my 13th year as a scout leader and I’ve received more than I can ever give back. Robb Howard
