Hey Rick,
I’d just like to point out if I may
that our own Jim Smith, a very competent
warmwater fisherman in his own right has
just retired, moved onto the banks of a
large warmwater lake, in the ice free realm
of Georgia. How about it Jim? G
Warm regards, Jim
Gee Jim, thanks for the vote of confidence. This is just like work, a bit of a nice complement and a bit more work. Rick, I’d be happy to contribute. What type of articles are you looking for? Patterns with experiences, techniques that have worked well for me??? Let me know and I’ll send something along to you.
Take care.
Jim Smith
Jim and anyone else who is fishing warmwater,
please send articles to me. Patterns with experiences, techniques that have worked well
are ALL welcome!
In fact, if you have some humorious stories they are welcome too (may not have been funny at the time, remember those?)

Heh heh, Thanks Jim,
I know it’ll be great and you’ll love
it.G I’ll do one on my dinner plate, no,
make that serving platter sized bream.G
Warm regards, Jim
I look forward to seeing the articles.
I see my name way to often.
Rick
Rick,
You may see your name too often, but I enjoy your articles. They inspire me to stay on the water longer and help me realize where I may be going wrong with my attempts to fish.
Right now, and I know it won’t last much longer, my fishing is very off. One can almost hear crickets chirping while I fish. I look around as the fish jump clear out of the water after insects and think how stupid it was to forget to buy a seining net, again.
Since reading some of your articles about the flies you use, I’m becoming more attentive to the water and I’ve seen mayflies this week that were never there before. Little tan and pink with black beady eyes about a size 16. They came out at about 5:00 p.m.
Anyway, thanks for your valuable contribution to FAOL.

Me? Write? About fishing? Ummmm, no, the only thing that works right for me while fishing is the VFR.
write about it when you get home. It is to hard to carry the computer and fish at the same time.
