I don’t know so I’m going to ask, what is the big deal about Tiger Eye blanks? To the best of my knowledge I have never seen one.
Tiger Eye blanks are absolutely beautiful. They are finished in a clear brown finish that lets the scrim show through in varied browns to golds. They are inexpensive and make a very nice casting rod with a medium to medium fast action.

Tiger Eyes are totally beautiful! Only problem I’ve ever encountered is in watching the beautiful reflections in the rod instead of the line, while fishing!
The Childrens’ Advocacy Center (Missouri Courts), has asked me to build a rod for their auction! Funny on my brain f*rt … I remembered the name of the one I’d wanted to use, but didn’t realize it till Goduster filled in the rest of the blanks! (I may be a quart, or two, high … blood that is!).
