Wondering if anyone has tied Adams wings as shown on the Fly Tying thread in the “Beginning Tying” part 18 Adams. It seems like you get a lot of bulk.
are supposed to be a little bulky. However, if you only wrap each hackle two times behind and one time forward of the wing, the bulkiness is a little less.

doesnt seem bulky to me. it gotta help support and float the fly. 2 wraps of each hackle isnt gonna cut it.
