Happy Thanksgiving

Hi All,

Just sitting at the computer a few minutes while enjoying the day. Our youger daughter and her husband are home. She is in the living room playing the piano (she is pretty good), and is studying engineering in college on both engineering and music scholarships.

It is nice to listen to her play some of the pieces she did in high school.

I helped the wife work on the vegetable plate this morning, one of the few flunky tasks that I can help with when it comes to cooking. Fortunately it takes little skill to peel carrots.

Now the wife and daughter are playing a piano duet.

I can smell the turkey cooking, and it is a bright sunny day outside…about 70, and would be a great day to go bluegill fishing, maybe a jitterbee?

At any rate a wonderful day, and I have much to be thankful for, God has blessed me far more than I deserve.

I want to wish you all a wonderful thanksgiving.

God bless and regards,

Gandolf

Hey there Gandolf,
And to you too (and yours) a very Happy Thanksgiving. Sounds like you are surrounded by what this day was meant to be , a celebration of family.

Mark

 Well, the turkey is almost done, the greenbean casseroleis ready to top off, the guys are in from their rounds, so sounds like it is time to eat, almost.

Ohyea, I’m at work but it is almost like home when you can cook here and have a great bunch of people on your crew.

Happy Thankingsgiving to Everyone.
Take a little time to say a prayer for our troops overseas today and enjoy your families and freedoms.

Sorry if I took over this thread.

Yes, we enjoyed our Thanksgiving last month. To all my USA friends, I hope you are having a great day, good food, good company and enjoying all you have to be thankful for.
Blessings, my friends.
