I am going to build a 7’9" 3wt. for my buddy’s 50th birthday. Over the years, as I’ve built a few rods, I’ve accumulated odds and ends of components here and there when I found a bargain. I have a few reel seats, grips, winding checks, hook keepers, and guides (both single foot and snake), etc. stashed away.
To make a long story short, is there a chart or something that will tell me the inside diameter of the various sizes of guides? For example, what are the diameters of a #1/0 guide, a #1 guide, a # 2 guide, etc., etc?
I can find all sorts of guide SPACING charts but no luck finding out the diameters of various numbered guides.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
