Guess I'll ask my questions here...

I tried to contact the administrators through the board but that function didn’t seem to be working. Then I asked here how to contact someone and was provided with a couple of email addresses. I’ve sent emails but never got any response. My questions are:

  1. It appears that at one time membership pins/buttons and maybe window decals were available. Wondered if they still are, and how one goes about procuring same.
  2. A while back I posted an article. I was going to post another but can’t figure out how to do it. Is that no longer available, or am I just too dumb to remember how I did it before? Don’t recall it being difficult, but…

Any answers/input appreciated; thank you.

I hope you get a reply. Posts on this BB have been decreasing. I hope everyone is fishing.

Just a thought, but you might find some success on FAOL FB page.

If you have technical questions you can send them to rtidd@flyanglersonline.com. Ron is our unpaid IT man and he is quite busy but he normally gets back to you if you give him time. It is important to remember that FAOL is operated by a completely unpaid staff of a couple individuals - yours truly and Ron Tidd. You might say that FAOL is, and to some extent always has been, a labor of love.

The Chronicler

My questions are above in my initial post. Thanks.

As indicated by the Administrator, this site is barely alive and supported by person funds. It’s is a shame that we don’t have caps (I still have one from 2008) and things anymore or updates on flies, etc. Many are willing to help/contribute, but not sure how to go about it. Let’s don’t let this site and group of loyalist die!!

The site will continue to be available to those that wish to access the material and the bulletin board, however things have changed in the online world and the place for the “little guy” has diminished. When FAOL first came online back in the 90’s it was pretty much the only game in town, so to speak, but like many ‘mom and pop’ enterprises ultimately the big boys came into the market and they siphoned away the advertisers. Unless someone out there has a few thousand dollars just laying around - make that several thousand dollars - a site like FAOL will continue to keep doing what it has done in the past but will be unable to make many significant changes.
