I finally got off the trout streams and made it out to an old farm pond that i like to fish. Tonight reminded me of how much i like warm water fishing. It was one of those nights where you couldn’t keep the gills off the hook. I even got into a couple bass. Nothing of any size but man was it fun throwing little dry flys and spiders. I even caught a few on wooley buggers but did my best on those little chernoble(SP?) spiders.
Its so much fun catching those fish on top and they just pounded the flys i was throwing. Can’t wait to get out again.
I haven’t received any of the flys some of you guys sent me but i can’t wait to get them and try em!
