hackle - grizzly dyed orange
wing - hen hackle tips dyed orange

mash barb, start thread; tie in black and dun hackle
prep a pair (convex facing) of hen hackle tips
gap width
shank length
tie in at 3/4 mark
trim butts, take a few wraps in front to set upright
and a few crossing wraps to lock
wrap hackles forward; tie off at 2/3 mark
