Hi

I am beginning to delve into the world of classic flies.. i have read that the tinsel that is sometimes used is metallic tinsel (Lagartun brand). Is that what you used. After all my years of tying i did not know it even existed.

metal tinsel was used long before the mylar tinsel we use today

i have metal tinsel but i do not use it. cuts thread like a knife
