Well every year I rent a mooring slip at the local state park. When I started this a few years ago it cost 35 dollars for 5 months and did not include the $10 state launch permit. It is now $70 for 7 months and now includes the $10 state launch permit.
Amy thinks that is expensive but considering it is under the watch of the rangers 24/7 I think it is a good deal. It also saves a lot of wear on my back not having to transport the canoe all of the time. Kind of nice to just throw the oars, rods and gear in the car then head to the lake.
Well soon as the weather breaks I will be prepping the canoe.
Eric,
I agree with you. Doing quick math, the increase is $1.00 per month, which I could live with.
Good choice. I’ll call one day soon. We have a lot of catching up to do.
Mike
Eric, that must be some canoe to have a mooring slip. When I saw this I was reminded of a “not all that young” man trying to move from what was described on “America’s Funniest Videos” as a canoe, in truth a yak, to a floating dock. Obviously if he had been successful it would not have been on the program. I love canoes but am such a klutz I have been able to invert way too many of them.
