So, where do you think goose biots come from? Before the joke writers for Jay Leno get it let me say “from geese?” Really though I have some suspicions but I would like to know exactly where on the goose they find these. Bear in mind that I have lived in a city for 55 yrs. you could lie to me and I wouldn’t know.

The biots come from the leading edge of the primary flight feathers on the wings.

On the left side of FAOL is a menu. Click on Fly Tying, then fly tying terms, then look up biots.
