Good evening of fishing

I took my kayak out for a couple of hours this evening for a bit of fly fishing. I caught a good number of fish with some nice ones mixed in. I ended up catching some Gar, LM Bass, and Tilapia. The Gar and some of the Tilapia took a leech pattern, and all the bass were caught on a shad minnow-like pattern. I “invited” one of the Tilapia home for dinner;) https://gifyu.com/image/Sd9k2

Thanks, Larry. It was a very nice, relaxing evening. We live in Central Florida, about 35 miles East of Tampa. Quite often the wind comes in off the ocean and it gets breezy here in the evenings which can make fly fishing a bit of a challenge. Yesterday it was a nice, calm day and the fishing was good.

LOTS of Tilapia in the lakes here n Florida, but they are rather fussy eaters. They fight fairly well and never quite sort of like a good-size catfish. Jim
