The wraps on my new switch rod (crimson and gold metallic) are turning out really well. They look like rubies wrapped in gold. So, I believe I’ll call this rod Gemstick.

HA, hadn’t even thought of that. Maybe I’ll call it Ruby Goldstein.
Or maybe, “Man am I ever glad I’m done with this rod.”
I just put the last coat of finish on the last of the wraps.
