Hello Rick. The images were taken with my android phone. No enhancement or photo alterations except for cropping. The holographic Mylar will take on a “gasoline” sheen. You can use different colors of Mylar and thread for different effects. The black thread and orange holographic Flashabou is a great combination that gives the greenish sheen. The UV resin top coat also helps with the sheen and protecting the Mylar.
Nicely done. I tie a Gasolina Perdigon for nymphing. This could work with a high stick or as a wet fly. Very nice variation.
