FOTW Question

I like the flat mylar body idea… here’s the question:
How do you iron Mylar without melting it, ie what kind of temperature are we talking about?

Knowing that I will be sleeping with the dog if I grab the quilting iron and leave a nice smelly, sticky, flashy piece of goo on it, I prefer to cover my bases here.

I cannot answer your question, but, I am glad there is another house in this world that has a “quilting iron” in it!! That comment made me grin and I needed that.

Thanks

Warren

Halo,
Guessing here. Perhaps under “gentle” heat -low setting- and the weight of the iron briefly?

Or maybe place the mylar 'tweenst a folded, thin cotton dish drying cloth and gently press?
