Here is another recent build for my 2nd ever true customer. I have been playing around with short fiberglass spinning blanks and made this 6’ 2pc. 6wt. This little rod will throw either a WF6 or WF7 line very nicely and it’s a perfect bass/panfish rod for those small ponds.
Wraps are blue tipped with white and red in the butt and ferrule- Kansas Jayhawks colors requested. I used an all cork seat, and fenwick style grip, both finished with a few light coats of spar varnish. Guides are single foot hardloy stripper, single foot wire snakes, and hardloy ceramic top. Finish is Flex coat lite without CP.
Thankfully, I bought 2 blanks so I’ll finish the other for myself!!
